School Holiday 3: Results

That Class Trial was kind of pitiful to watch... everyone seemed to disregard information and come up with absurd ideas. I guess the lack of people who have actually played Bioshock Infinite also contributed, but none the less, it was still hard to watch.

Anyways, here is how the murder occurred...

Morning of 10/8:

8:07AM: Eclipse woke up in his room and prepared for the day.

9:00AM: Eclipse leaves the Main Street and heads down to the Arcade, where he began using his coins.

9:30AM: After playing at the arcade for a while, Eclipse finally wins at one of the games. He won Undertow! He drinks it, and then disposes of it into a trash can, where an empty bottle of Return to Sender was already disposed of.

10:24AM: Eclipse gets to the gondola, but on his way out, he sees Lloyd looking around carefully before taking out a Skyhook, and jumping onto a metal rail, disappearing into the morning sky.

10:30AM: On the way back up the Gondola, you watch as Lustful, Siren, and Akira go down from the the gondola from the Main Street.

11:02AM: Eclipse goes on the Gondola to the Ferris Wheel from the Main Street.

11:25AM: Eclipse arrives at the Ferris Wheel, and sees Akio, so he decides to hang out with him for the day. He also set the Hammer Game High Score.

2:42PM: Anti-Hero bumps into Eclipse and Akio as he runs towards the gondolas.

2:56PM: Eclipse and Akio run into Alter and Arckas.

4:12PM: Eclipse leaves Akio and heads back to the Main Street.

4:48PM: Eclipse heads to the Butcher Shop to get some meat to prepare for dinner. Upon entering, he comes across Masuno thrusting a knife into Lustful's side, who grabs his side in pain. Lustful's free hand begins to glow as he shoots it out, shooting Masuno into the ceiling, where he stayed suspending in the air.

5:10PM: Eclipse saw the opportunity, and grabbed a butcher knife. He then began to continuously stab Masuno on the front of his body, who suddenly fell from the ceiling, and onto the floor; a pool of blood beginning to form around the body. Lustful backs into the wall in fear, and Eclipse saw the only thing he had to do. Eclipse slowly walks over to Lustful, and states, "Sorry", before chopping the butcher knife into his head.

5:14PM: After the sudden series of events, Eclipse looks around the vicinity outside the butcher shop, before making a quick break for his house.

5:16PM: Eclipse opens his safe and quickly throws in the Butcher Knife, and washes his clothes before the blood sets in, and then stays in his room for a few hours, until his clothes dry.

8:33PM: The first body discovery alarm rings out, and Eclipse waited a while before leaving his room, making his way back to the Ferris Wheel gondola, which he enters. On his way up, he sees Siren, Akio, Alter, and Arckas going down to Main Street. When he got back up to the Ferris Wheel, he went around, wandering the area.

9:02PM: The second body announcement rings out, and shortly after, a gondola comes up with Siren, who asks where Eclipse was earlier, for which he states that he was going up to the Ferris Wheel to check if the bodies might be there after the announcement rang out. Siren begins to accuse Eclipse, yelling at him and getting all up in his personal space, for which he uses Undertow, and pushes Siren to the ground.

9:18PM: Siren and Eclipse slowly walk back to the gondolas, not speaking a word. Siren only points to the place where the Butcher Shop, for which they both enter, revealing the slightly changed murder scene of Masuno and Lustful.

I guess you all don't believe in Lady Luck, because it just had to be someone who knew Masuno was meeting up with Lustful. Trust is also a very important aspect to the Class Trials.

Now then, there was someone who interfered with the Dead Bodies. I might as well let you discuss a little before moving on to the Judgement, so make sure to put your head between your knees and kiss your bum goodbye before then.

Thank you everyone for testing out a new way to go about the Class Trials. I will be using the same method once again next session to test it, but if it doesn't seem to be working out, I will need to change it again. Eclipse, PM me with your Custom Title choice.

Luck was indeed involved in this crime. I just so happened to want to eat some meat for Dinner and stopped by the butchery to find Lustful stabbed and Masuno floating. The easiest kills of my life.
You all seemed a little stuck on the point of me having to do some laps to use vigors, that is wrong as the rule says no one person may have MORE THAN 2 vigors. Not that it mattered.

Regardless, I do believe you went and edited my crime scene didn't you Seadrias?

and Sea I highly doubt any more discussion as you were hoping for near the end would have assisted us in pinpointing EclipseZwolf and I also believe had I been available to partake fully I still would have never thought it was he...

The last 3 people I had come down to after everything were Kuro, Eclipse, and Jurie. After I found out you could possess 2 vigors at once, I narrowed it down to Kuro and Eclipse. Eclipse has the correct time frame for the time of death upon return, and Kuro had the right weapon skills for the murder.

However, there was no way I was going to change the vote in time, so I gave up.

I did some crime-scene editing in hopes of getting more information, but it seems like everyone else was too incompetent to catch my lead.

I was going to release my theory on both Eclipse and Kuro as the final potential suspects in the end, but nobody was listening so I didn't bother. Both were equally likely in my opinion, so I just went with the crowd and went with Kuro.

Eclipse killing Masuno with a knife is one thing since he was incapable of motion, but there should be no way for him to kill Lustfull with a sharp weapon as well. Plus, where did the blunt blows on Lustfulls head come from if he was killed with a butchers knife? And most of all, why should Lustfull sit back and watch Eclipse kill first Masuno and then him without doing anything? Why did he not run or use his vigor against Eclipse as soon as he turned against him?

And how would have playing the game helped out here in any way at all?

Chaser John Doe, Keep in mind that I had significantly weakened Lustful. I don't know if anybody here's been stabbed, but I heard that that stuff HURTS. And you know. Kinda kills ya.

Also, the blunt blow came from Seadrias editting the crime scene, pretty sure.

Ah. Playing the game would give you a full understanding of everything, especially vigors. That seems to be all.

The only real complaint I have about this trial (other than people being too incompetent to figure out I messed with the crime scene), is the level of magic involved in these murders. It got to the point where people were saying 2-3 different vigors were involved, and I couldn't make a counterpoint because, well, there's no argument against magic.

Sea I don't know if changing the evidence ever makes it better for the innocents and I don't think making both weapon types being used would help us think it was someone who can only use one as was the case this trial you may have been hoping to just enlarge the list of suspects but in this way it felt more like a shield created for the blackenend as I like to assume that everyone but the blackened is telling the truth. This being said had I perchance asked to look at the crime scene I would have realized wait Sea lied and his alibi is as said before funny meaning at the end of the day I would have thought you were the blackened. Though these incidents where innocents do things like this in hopes of twisting the evidence to create a bias or an arrow toward the true killer or as I believe in this case to increase the suspect list will probably happen again I hope the next game we play I can actually study everyone's info but I was busy or kept away from a computer by school had this trial taken place during Fri-Mon I may have been able to look more in-depth at each persons evidence. although this trial with the magic as Sea says, made it difficult to argue who killed who and how exactly did each persons body end up the way it did...

I mess with the crime scene because I always assume that nobody except for me is ever going to solve it. It gives other people an easier time pinpointing me as the culprit, and gives me something to do after I've solved everything. There have been multiple times where I've solved the entire trial at the start and I was just bored for most of the trial.

In this version of the game, however, it seems like alibis are more important than actual hard evidence, so there might not even be a point to messing with the crime scene.
